Introduction

If you produce audio — podcasts, interviews, mixes or music — you know how different platforms enforce their own loudness standards. Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music and others apply LUFS normalization. If a track is too quiet or too loud, the platform will adjust it automatically, sometimes changing the way it sounds.

LUFS Normalizer makes that predictable. The service analyses an audio file, shows the measured loudness values and automatically adjusts them to the target standard.

How It Works

  1. Upload a WAV, MP3 or FLAC file.
  2. The service calculates integrated LUFS and true peak.
  3. Pick a target platform — for example Spotify (−14 LUFS, peak −1 dB).
  4. Download a normalised file together with a detailed report and graphs.
  5. Optionally edit MP3 tags: title, artist, album and more.
  6. Export the processed audio plus a PDF report.
Quick loops showing the upload and analysis flow are available below.

What the Demo Already Delivers

  • Loudness analysis: integrated LUFS, true peak and dynamic range.
  • Normalisation presets for the major platforms (Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music and more).
  • A Tags tab for MP3 metadata: read, preview, edit and save.
  • Downloads for processed audio files and PDF reports.
  • Guest mode without sign-up, and account mode with processing history.

Optional GIF placeholder: animation of editing MP3 tags.

Why We Built It This Way

  • Browser-first: works anywhere without plug-ins or a DAW.
  • Transparent: shows charts and numbers instead of hiding normalisation behind a button.
  • Tag-aware: keeps ID3 metadata intact and lets you tweak it before export.
  • Fast: files up to 100 MB process in seconds thanks to streaming workers.

Roadmap Highlights

  • Batch processing so you can normalise dozens of tracks in one go.
  • Public API for integrating LUFS Normalizer into your own products.
  • Expanded reports with mix recommendations and visualised dynamics.
  • Email notifications when processing finishes.
  • Project storage: keep processed files and history in the cloud.
